Entwined Dolphins Mirror

24 x 42"
Two mythical dolphins, their tails entwined into a striking crest, encircle a convex mirror. The design is fittingly finished in hand-laid gold leaf over a black bole. The mythical dolphin was the Admiral Lord Nelson's emblem. During the late 18th Century, it became a symbol for England's hegemony over the seas. The alternate photo is the Entwined Dolphins mirror used in a foyer by Designer Benjamin Dhong featured in the September 2012 issue of "House Beautiful".
