A fine example of an 18th Century French trumeau design. Inspired by Mansart's sensational hall of mirrors at Versailles, this style became popular in palaces throughout Europe. The Marie Antoinette's fresh green panel sets off Neo-classic reliefs of scrolls, urn, rosettes, leaves and bell flower chains. These reliefs along with the cornice and side moldings are all finished in antique gold leaf. The panel is also available in antique white, black, grey or custom colored grounds.
